About the Project Our client is a healthcare technology company seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their development team on a nearshore basis. The team primarily develops using PHP and Laravel, but prior Laravel experience is not required. Candidates with strong object-oriented programming fundamentals and experience building scalable web applications are encouraged to apply. This is a remote opportunity for professionals based in LATAM who can work during Central or Pacific Time Zone business hours. Requirements Responsabilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.

Build clean, maintainable, and reusable code following object-oriented programming principles.

Collaborate with a distributed engineering team in an Agile environment.

Contribute to both backend and frontend development across the application stack.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Learn and work with PHP/Laravel as part of the existing technology stack when needed.

Continuously improve code quality, performance, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of full-stack software development experience.

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design.

Experience building and maintaining modern web applications.

Advanced English communication skills (client-facing role).

Availability to work during Central or Pacific Time Zone business hours.

Availability for a 4–6 month contract.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with PHP (Laravel is a strong plus, but not required).

Strong Python development experience.

Strong Node.js development experience.

Experience working in Agile software development environments.

Willingness to learn and work with Laravel if coming from another object-oriented framework.
