Full Stack Production Software Engineer
We are seeking a Full Stack Production Software Engineer to own production incident response, technical troubleshooting, and application reliability across the technology stack. This role will diagnose and resolve complex issues spanning frontend applications, backend services, databases, cloud infrastructure, and third-party integrations while driving long-term improvements to system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary engineering responder for production incidents and technical escalations.
- Troubleshoot issues across React applications, Laravel APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and integrations.
- Rapidly diagnose incidents, restore service, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions.
- Partner with engineering, infrastructure, QA, and support teams to resolve customer-impacting issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for recurring problems.
- Improve application performance, stability, scalability, and resilience.
- Develop monitoring, dashboards, alerts, logging, and other observability solutions.
- Build internal tools and automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain runbooks, troubleshooting documentation, and postmortem action items.
- Contribute code to frontend and backend applications as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident reviews.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with PHP and Laravel.
- Strong experience with JavaScript and React.
- Experience troubleshooting production systems in cloud environments.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and systems-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work effectively under pressure.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, queues, or event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with microservices and Go (Golang).
