We’re Geocodio, a data-as-a-service company that makes it delightfully boring and straightforward for anyone to get geocoordinates, corrected addresses, calculate distance, and enrich their location data. Our customers tell us “it just works” and our NPS score of 88 tells us they’re pretty happy with it.

We’ve built a sustainable, profitable, happy little company over the past 12+ years and we pride ourselves on punching far above our weight. Our customers range from students working with geographic data for the first time to utility companies to cancer researchers to non-profits that help people find their polling place on Election Day. Chances are, our data is under the hood of a product or service you use regularly.

At Geocodio, you'll get to work on software at scale (serving over a billion requests per month!) as part of a small, collaborative team that takes pride in providing a resilient service while also having fun experimenting with new technologies.

We're looking for an experienced engineer to join our team based in US Eastern time, or Central time as long as you're able to work Eastern hours. (You must be physically located in the US.)

We're a dyed-in-the-wool Laravel shop and have been built on Laravel since 2014, so you should have at least a few years of experience working with Laravel and PHP. A small portion of our codebase is also in Go, but it's okay if you haven't worked with Go.
